Commissions

Whether it’s a site-specific project, a one-of-a-kind gift, or a quiet addition to a space, I work closely with clients to create pieces that are both grounded and personal.

Commissioned work may include:
– Sculptural vases (small to large scale)
– Ceramic lighting (table lamps, floor lamps wall lights, pendants)
– Textured wall installations or panels
– Site-specific pieces for interiors, hospitality, or exhibition

A cozy living room with a cream-colored sectional sofa, multiple pillows, and a blanket. Large bay windows with decorative trim let in natural light, revealing a view of trees outside. A wooden coffee table with stacks of books and small vases sits in front, with an assortment of vases and decorative objects nearby.

A dimly lit room features an abstract table lamp with a large, textured, irregular brown shade and a spherical stone base, placed on a wooden cabinet beside a sofa with a cushion, and a framed abstract artwork on the wall behind.

Process

Each project begins with a conversation — a sense of form, texture, tone, or space. I often start from reference images or mood, then sketch or test as needed. Each piece is made entirely by hand. Because of the nature of the materials and techniques I use, no two pieces are ever identical, but I can closely recreate the overall style, texture, and mood you're drawn to.

Lead Time

  • 4–9 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the project.

Forming and Firing

  • Each piece is shaped by hand — either on the wheel or through handbuilding techniques, depending on scale and form

  • I develop my own glazes, formulated through deep, chemistry-based experimentation

  • Surfaces are textured and painterly, designed to feel like an extension of the form

  • Every ceramic piece is bisque-fired, glazed, and then high-fired — with slow, careful drying between each stage

Lighting Components

  • Sculptural lampshades are handmade using paper, wire, and textiles

  • Each shade is one-of-a-kind and designed to complement the base

  • Only LED bulbs are used for safety and energy efficiency (40 Watts max)

  • Lighting pieces are fully functional and ready to plug in, with standard fittings available upon request

Final Steps

  • Once the piece is complete, you'll receive detailed photos for final approval.
Shipping is available worldwide. All works are securely packed using sustainable or custom materials, depending on fragility.
