Maria Loram
Iām Maria Loram, a ceramic artist based in Los Angeles. I create sculptural lighting and vessels through a process that merges wheel work and handbuilding, shaped by intuition and a deep relationship with clay, glazes, and paper.
My work lives between the raw and the refined ā drawn to texture, the surreal, and the otherworldly. Inspired by wabi-sabi, the cosmos, and the philosophy of non-duality, each piece is a quiet meditation ā a search for surface, stillness, and something beyond the visible.
