Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the application "Maria Loram Pin Autopilot" (the "Application") handles data. The Application is a personal tool operated by Maria Loram to publish her own artwork photography to her own Pinterest account. It is not offered to the public and does not process data belonging to any other users.
Who this applies to
The Application is used solely by its owner to manage the owner's own Pinterest and Google accounts. It does not create accounts for, collect data from, or provide services to third parties or website visitors.
What the Application accesses
Pinterest. With the owner's authorization through Pinterest's official OAuth process, the Application accesses the owner's own Pinterest account to read the owner's boards and to create Pins on those boards. It requests only the permissions needed for this: reading boards, reading and creating Pins, and reading basic account information.
Google Drive. With the owner's authorization, the Application reads image files from folders in the owner's own Google Drive in order to select photographs to publish. It does not modify or delete files unless the owner explicitly enables that option, and it accesses only the folders the owner designates.
AI caption generation. The Application may send an image and basic descriptive context to a third-party AI provider (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) for the sole purpose of drafting a suggested title and description for a Pin. These drafts are reviewed by the owner before publication.
What data is stored, and where
The Application stores data only on the owner's own computer (and, if the owner later deploys it, on infrastructure the owner controls). This may include:
Pinterest and Google access and refresh tokens, used to stay connected.
A local record of which photographs have been published, including their titles, descriptions, destination links, and publication times.
Access tokens are stored in a local file with restricted permissions. No data is transmitted to the developer of the Application or to any party other than Pinterest, Google, and the AI provider described above, each solely to perform the functions above.
Data the Application does NOT collect
The Application does not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information about website visitors, Pinterest users, or any third parties. It uses no advertising or tracking technologies.
Data retention and deletion
Locally stored tokens and publication records remain until the owner deletes them. The owner may revoke the Application's access at any time from their Pinterest account settings (Apps) and their Google account settings (Third-party access), which immediately prevents further access.
Third-party services
Use of the Pinterest API is subject to Pinterest's own privacy policy and terms. Use of Google Drive is subject to Google's privacy policy. Use of the AI provider is subject to that provider's privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
